THE ROLE
- Consult with clients to understand their travel preferences, budgets, interests and requirements.
- Design and book a variety of leisure travel experiences, including international holidays, land packages, cruises and tailor-made itineraries.
- Provide expert destination knowledge, product recommendations and travel advice.
- Prepare accurate quotations, itineraries and travel documentation.
- Utilise your GDS expertise and airfare knowledge to research, price and secure suitable travel options.
- Convert enquiries into confirmed bookings through effective sales techniques and exceptional customer service.
- Build and maintain strong client relationships to encourage repeat business, referrals and long-term loyalty.
- Proactively identify opportunities to increase sales, promote relevant travel products and achieve sales targets.

WHAT YOU'LL NEED TO SUCCEED
- Previous experience as a Retail Travel Consultant within a travel agency environment.
- Strong GDS skills and an excellent understanding of airfare pricing, fare rules and booking processes.
- Experience selling a variety of leisure travel products, including international holidays and tailored itineraries.
- Strong communication, interpersonal and customer service skills.
- Proven ability to build rapport with clients and develop repeat business.
- Excellent organisational skills, attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple bookings and client enquiries.
- A proactive, positive and results-driven attitude.
- The confidence to work independently while collaborating effectively with management and colleagues.
- Flexibility to work a six-day rotating roster in line with the store's operating requirements.
