An exciting opportunity is available for an experienced Travel Manager to join a successful luxury travel business in Broadbeach.

Combining leadership, sales and high-end travel, this role is ideal for an accomplished luxury travel professional who enjoys mentoring a team while continuing to work with discerning clients and create exceptional, tailor-made journeys.

THE ROLE

As Travel Manager, you’ll lead, guide and mentor a successful team of travel professionals while ensuring clients continue to receive an outstanding level of personalised service.

Working within the luxury travel market, you and your team will look after experienced travellers with discerning tastes, creating bespoke itineraries to some of the world’s most spectacular destinations.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Leading, motivating and mentoring a high-performing travel team
  • Supporting consultants to achieve individual and team sales targets and KPIs
  • Driving a culture of exceptional customer service and commercial success
  • Consulting with clients and creating bespoke luxury itineraries
  • Building strong, lasting relationships through personalised service and exceptional communication
  • Understanding clients' individual travel styles, interests and expectations
  • Curating complex international itineraries and memorable travel experiences
  • Maximising sales opportunities while maintaining a consultative, service-focused approach
  • Developing repeat and referral business
  • Sharing destination and product expertise across the team
  • Ensuring every client receives a seamless experience from initial consultation through to their return home

You’ll also have dedicated appointment time with clients, allowing you to provide a highly personalised consultation rather than feeling pressured to rush from one enquiry to the next.

To excel in this position, you’ll be an experienced travel professional who combines strong leadership skills with luxury travel expertise and a genuine passion for exceptional service.

  • Proven leadership, coaching or mentoring experience within the travel industry
  • Strong knowledge of the luxury travel market
  • Extensive international destination and product knowledge
  • A proven track record of achieving and exceeding sales targets and KPIs
  • The ability to motivate and develop a successful sales and service team
  • Exceptional customer service skills
  • Strong relationship-building abilities
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Confidence dealing with experienced and discerning travellers
  • Strong organisational and time-management skills
  • A polished, professional and consultative approach
  • A genuine passion for creating extraordinary travel experiences
