THE COMPANY
Conveniently located near Melbourne airport, our client is a modern hotel that boasts career progression through its extensive company portfolio. Due to an internal promotion, they are currently seeking a talented Business Development Manager to join their dynamic team. The property offers flexible meeting and event spaces, able to accommodate intimate occasions, corporate functions and grand scale celebrations.
THE ROLE
• Maintain and surpass sales KPIs within allocated regions and accounts
• Expand and fulfill strategic plans to achieve sales KPIs and increase customer base
• Develop and retain solid, long-term customer affiliations
• Collaborate with customers to work out their business objectives
WHAT YOU'LL NEED TO SUCCEED
• Strong sales executive experience, meeting and exceeding KPIs
• Sales executive or sales manager experience in a similar role
• Solid organisational, interpersonal, relationship management, influencing and negotiation skills
• Well-developed time management and prioritising skills
• Ability to develop business opportunities via extensive networking with industry contacts
