The Opportunity
- This innovative DMC is looking for an industry superstar with strong sales and relationship building skills to step into a business development role.
- This is not your standard sales role, working closely with the company's senior management you will be confident in creating and implementing sales strategies to increase B2C and B2B business.
Your Day
- Successfully manage a sales pipeline from start to finish
- Identify, develop and implement sales strategies and proposals to increase business from industry retail partners, special interest and educational groups and private travellers.
- Develop and maintain key internal and external stakeholder relationships
- Attend and represent this amazing brand at a range of industry events
- Undertake thorough market research to be across industry trends and stay a head of your competitors.

The Must Have
- Previous travel industry business development or strategic sales experience a must preferably with an inbound travel company or DMC.
- Proven sales ability
- Strong communication skills including presenting to large groups
- Ability to travel and work a range of hours as required.
Brisbane, Sydney & Melbourne based candidates will be considered.
