THE ROLE
Reporting to the DOSM, this role focuses on Corporate and MICE market segments. You will utilise your nurturing sales approach to maintain and secure new business opportunities while strengthening relationships with existing clients to ensure repeat business for the hotel.
- Solicit and secure business from MICE and Corporate market segments
- Generate leads and maintain key relationships across a portfolio of accounts
- Implement sales strategies with the aim to maximise occupancy
- Manage customer satisfaction outcomes to facilitate repeat business
- Participate in client entertaining, functions and Industry network events
WHAT YOU NEED TO SUCCEED
- Previous experience as a BDM in the hotel industry
- Knowledge of products and developments in Corporate/MICE market segments
- Demonstrated experience with CRM software
- Exceptional presentation and communications skills
- Highly developed administrative skills and problem-solving aptitude
- Ability to work independently in a multi-disciplinary team
- Current Driver’s Licence
